FRIDAY, June 6th

12 PM TO 10 PM ****** New starting time. GATES OPEN TO FRONTIER DAYS 2014 AT THE FORT MUSEUM.
12 PM TO 8 PM “BUCKSKINNNER Rendezvous” – CAMPS ARE OPEN. ‘SKINNERS FROM OVER 100 MILES AWAY WILL PORTRAY THE LIFE AND TIMES OF EARLY COLONIAL FRONTIER MEN AND WOMEN SHARING THE REALNESS OF SPIRIT AND DAILY LIFE IN THE LATE 1700’S TO THE MID 1800’S.
12 PM TO 8PM INFLATABLES FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES BY Gee Willie Entertainment
12 PM TO 8 OR 9PM FOOD AND CRAFT VENDORS OPEN
1 PM TO 4 PM “AREAS BEST KARAOKE” ON THE KEMNA AUTO BIG TOP STAGE –OPEN TO ALL 16 AND OVER, SHOW UP, SIGN UP, AND SING!!
12 PM TO 8 PM FORT – MUSEUM – AND THE STORES ON FRONT STREET ARE OPEN
12 AM TO 8 PM SEE THE CARDIFF GIANT AT THE MUSEUM – World renown from Iowa
3 PM TO 8PM “THE FRONTIER DAYS BOOTH” OPEN IN THE OPERA HOUSE – OFFERING THE 2014 COLLECTORS BUTTON AND PREVIOUS YEARS COLLECTORS BUTTONS.
4 PM OPENING CEREMONY AT THE SOUTH FLAG POLE
7 PM TO 11 PM “THE JAY CLYDE BAND” ON THE Kemna Auto Big top Stage.
6 PM TO 10 PM “THE RUNWAY REUNION” BROUGHT TO YOU BY AL MENDENHALL IN THE OPERA HOUSE – OPEN TO ALL – PLAYING HITS FROM THE YEARS OF THE “RUNWAY” NIGHT CLUB IN FORT DOGE..!!!

SATURDAY, June 7th

10 AM TO 12 PM THE 2014 FRONTIER DAYS PARADE – CENTRAL AVENUE DOWNTOWN FORT DODGE. SPONSORED BY FIRST SOURCE CELLULAR AND THREE EAGLES COMMUNICATIONS.
10 AM TO 10 PM GATES OPEN TO FRONTIER DAYS 2014 AT THE FORT MUSEUM

1 PM TO 4 PM “RICHIE LEE AND THE FABULOUS FIFTIES”. PLAYING ON THE KEMNA AUTO BIG TOP STAGE. – IT’S A STEP INTO THE 50S AND 60S,
1 PM TO 2:00 PM MIDWEST COMBAT ARTS – STUDENTS DISPLAYING THE IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISCIPLINE – IN THE OPERA HOUSE.
1 PM TO 1:30 PM REGISTRATION FOR THE “HAWKEYE PEDAL TRACTOR PULL” ON THE PARKING LOT SOUTH OF THE FORT. FREE!!! Peddle tractors are provided.
1:30 PM TO 4PM THE “HAWKEYE PEDAL TRACTOR PULL” – ON THE PARKING LOT SOUTH OF THE FORT IS FREE!!! Hawkeye Peddle Pull – now in its third year, this fun event for kids 4 to 11 is free, PEDDLE TRACTORS PROVIDED. FIND OUR MORE AT FRONTIERDAYSFORTDODGE.COM OR GO TO: hawkeyepedalpull.com .
VARIOUS TIMES “THE GHOST GARRISON” – LOCATED IN FRONT OF THE STOCKCADE.
2:30 PM TO 3:30 PM HOLLINGSWORTH SCHOOL OF DANCE – PERFORMS IN THE OPERA HOUSE. ENJOY DANCING, GYMNASTICS, TAP, JAZZ, AND MODERN HIP HOP IN AN ARRAY OF ROUNTINES WITH STUDENTS FROM 2 YEARS TO 21.
***4:00 PM – 5:30 PM INTRODUCTIONOF THE 2014 PARADE MARSHALS CORP. – AND 2014 PARADE AWARDS – IN THE OPERA HOUSE. SEE THE AWARD WINNERS FOR FIVE CATAGORIES OF THE PARADE. And all the previous parade marshals that are able to attend.
4 PM TO 6 PM HITS OF THE 2000’S – PLAYING MUSIC UNDER THE BIG TOP

11 AM TO 1 PM “KYLE STRINGER” – PLAYING ACOUTICAL GUITAR – MOSTLY COUNTRY, – ON THE KEMNA AUTO BIG TOP STAGE.
1 PM TO 3 PM “CHIP EVAN AND MIKE HOGAN” – PLAYING CLASSIC SOFT ROCK. – ON THE KEMNA AUTO BIG TOP STAGE.
1:30 TO 3:30 PM INTRODUCTIONOF THE 2014 PARADE MARSHALS CORP. – WHICH IS MADE UP OF ALL PREVIOUS 40 YEARS OF PARADE MARSHALS. – IN THE OPERA HOUSE. ALL ARE INVITED FOR A TRIP OF MEMORIES OF ALL THE PREVIOUS PARADE MARSHALS AND LISTEN IN TO STORIES TOLD BY THE MARSHALS AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS. This will be a very relaxed time with circle of chairs where all can share and listen.
